I recently heard news that alpha lipoic acid is a great anti-aging supplement. I have also heard reports about a new supplement called resveratrol that has been found to dramatically increase the lifespan in yeast cells. Although going from increasing the lifespan in yeast cells to increasing it in humans is a huge jump can you give me any advice on supplements that have been proven to extend the human lifespan besides basic anti-oxidants.

Too good to be true?
Seems pretty legit to me. This supplement seems to have the ability to increase healthy life span and prevent cancer and major diseases. I hope good things come out of this. Every so often through the works of science we discover things that improve and drastically change the ways we live our lives. I was just curious to how everyone felt about this.

I found some made from the muscadine grape at the Old South winery in Natchez, but all the rest that all the other vitamin companies is made from the root of the knotweed plant and I have been told it is imported from China. I contacted the research doctor at M. D. Anderson cancer Center and he e-mail back some regular vitamin suppliers. i know they use pharmacutical grade from Canada but cannnot find out..
