the average life span of humans has doubled in the past 1000 years because of improvements in health care including everything from clean water, antibiotics, vaccines, sterile surgical environments, etc….
since we take vitamins, vaccines, antibiotics and interfere in every other way we can to extend life, would you take a pill to possibly double you life span if you could live in good health.
by the way, this is in the near future and proven to be possible.

The question is if they really are enjoying life to want to keep living? Looking that many people go through depression and commit suicide, how many are just quitting on life and can’t even find a sense of purpose for living. Why would they want to live longer… just so they can be on the slums more… you may take a pill to live longer but without Jesus you are not truly living life… I wouldn’t take the pill or use it.. I would let my life take it’s course and I can’t wait for the coming of Jesus… Joh 3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
I have eternal life in Jesus, yes my body well be gone when the world ends or when I die but my spirit will continue living… I have eternal life in Jesus, eternal love and eternal happiness in Jesus… I have all I need and I will not perish because I believe Jesus did die for my sins on that cross and he died for everyone else too. Thanks to him I have a relationship with God which is why we are here on earth on the first place. No need for the pill.
God bless you =D
As long as i can still wipe my butt, I’m cool.
if my husband gets it and we are rich with 21 yr old bodies…otherwise forget it..
I’d donate and offer that pill to a genius scientist looking for the cure for cancer so they could continue their work.
What for, I just want to live long enough to see my kids and grand kids. Life ain’t that great.
Not if for those extra 50-70 years I’m senile… Oh right, I’m atheist, I
shouldn’t answer this.
Is this question more proposed at the Evangelicals that reject science?
If I’m content with the direction my life is going at the time, yes.
I wouldn’t trust the medical side affects
What does this have to do with our religion?
just curious… what does this have anything to do with christians? Do you guys think it’s a sin to live longer too? damn next thing you know it will be sin to sleep with your eyes closed.
yesh
No. The deaths of our parents or other loved ones teach us we are mortal. If I was living being taken care of my 5-gen-grandchildren they would tire of me. God gave us all a chance to live on earth. Let our children also without excess baggage.
Followed your link. Didn’t see anything about 150 years old. Won’t happen. Despite recent claims to the contrary, there is no documentation of a human being living beyond 120 years since the flood.
No, I wouldn’t. My life is in my Father’s hands. When he says I’m ready, I’m ready.
No Way……….I cant wait to go home to the Lord!
this is stupid, completely like human behavior, create somethin to live longer because thats the goal, live longer become richer… thing is the longer we live the more the earth grows over populated, aids isnt even keeping the human population in check not to mention all other desieses or homicide or genocide or suicide, we still overpopulate.
in the future ill lead the resistance against the government and thin the heard for real. WHO WILL JOIN ME
edit: also, the freakin whole goal of christians is to die and go to heaven, so i sugjest u all go end ur life.
That depends if it was Satan that made it NO>
I would pray to Jesus and if he said that was his will for me then Yes.
I want to have eternal life in heaven not on earth.
Living in a world where all your friends are gone would be a very lonely place.
Maybe.
I don’t see why this is a religious question. With the exception of the more extreme fundamentalist groups, Christians believe that knowledge of and our ability to use science is a gift from God.
No, not with the world becoming what it is becoming. I’m looking forward to my eternal home.
