One of my friends is a very successful internet marketer that sells the stuff.
To quote him directly "the stuff is useless and doesn’t work."
I often have arguments with him about how he should sell alternative health products that work really well to help the world, but he’s repeatedly declined to do so for the following reason:
"Miracle cures which require the user to do nothing (ie. improve life habits) the users have no real way telling if it actually work, and are generally foreign and hard to understand the working of (ie. some exotic asian name, tend to be the best products to sell to the public en masse. The one before this was acai berries."
The stuff just was marketed really well to create a fad where people were made to believe it works (but that is information I’m not supposed to divulge, so you’ll just have to trust me on faith here).
I will add that thousands of fake testimonials have been put up online by marketers to help sell the stuff! =p

If you actually want to live longer, the secret is really simple; don’t eat processed foods!

it makes you live longer supposedly. It contains a compound that is found in red wine which you would need to drink like 100 bottles to get the effect.

I think you’re talking about grape by products or grape skins but grapes
are good. I used to eat 3 pounds of grapes a day and it really cleaned
out my bowels but if you back it up with prunes you’ll really get cleaned out and you’ll be cleaning out the garbage of your Large intestine.
If you ever notice, they don’t advertise prunes on T. V. anymore.
Anyway I don’t think anyone believes in detoxifying with prunes and grapes. When people cook their food they never think about live
    enzymes.
Ok I’m backI looked it up on a Swanson Vitamins Catalog and It’s good for the heart and it’s an antioxidant and you can get 2 for 16.99 with grapeseed extract and wine extract but these elements are by
    products of grapes.

Resveratrol is a chemical constituent prominently found in red and purple grape skins, blueberries, and cranberries. It is also prominent in red wine. Researchers, including those at the Mayo Clinic and Harvard Medical School, have studied resveratrol for some years now and have concluded that it is, perhaps, the most powerful anti-oxidant to be found. It is also believed to scrape out your arteries of their "plaque" build-up–which is what leads to arteriosclerosis and heart attacks.

Other benefits include increased energy levels and help with weight control. You can send for a free sample of this one called Resveratrol Select at the link. In my opinion it works very well–but I also maintain a healthy lifestyle. I suggest trying their free trial offer and then finding some others if you can, too.
