I have the Nature study that started all the hype here in my hand, and the human equivalent of the doses used would be several kilograms a day of the stuff….
So I was wondering if anyone had tried it in the much easier to find capsule doses, and if you had noticed any effect from taking it.
If so, please also indicate the dose, and how long you have taken it - - I’m just trying got decide if its worth money….
Thanks all
Be well
I’ve been on the natural form of it for years and it makes me feel great. I especially like cheap Pinot Noir.
All kidding aside, I just sent some to my father-in-law and he’s going to try it for the first time. The formula contains the following:
Resveratrol …200mg
(polygonum cuspidatum) extract (root)
(standardized to contain 20% trans resveratrol) (40 mg)
The dose is 1 a day.
I’m just as curious as you about the effects. I expect it will have a strong placebo effect in the short-term (making him feel more energized) and in the long-term it will act as a cardioprotective as intended.
As with just about every supplement I don’t recommend this to be used as a monotherapy. A holistic approach deals with stimulating health from all angles, but you already know this.
Good luck!
P.S. Make a profile, Tink :o)
