I was reading an article online that said resveratrol was the chemical in red wine that kept your heart healthy. I’m looking on the internet for pills of it, but I would like to know how much is typical in a bottle of red wine to understand which supplements are providing a significant amount.

There is approximately 4mg per serve. Keep in mind that Resveratrol is a by product of not just red wine. It is also comes from other fruits and even peanuts. I have seen plenty of articles on it and it is very impressive. In terms of buying as pills verses a nice bottle of red wine. I would go for the supplements as it is a dedicated resource for them. If it was a friday night… I would go for the red wine
A 5 oz glass of red wine contains about .24-1.89mg of resveratrol. It varies greatly, because it depends on the manufacturing of the wine, and how long the grapes were left on the vine.
To reap the benefits of resveratrol (living longer, living healthier), you really need to get about 100-200mg per day. You could not get enough just by drinking wine. The only way to get that amount is through resveratrol supplements.
Here is more info on resveratrol and how to get a free trial bottle.

Yes, it’s 1.98 - 7.13 mg/l
But there are many other sources of resveratrol. Among them grape juice, mulberries, oranges:

I believe peanuts was on that list as well.
How much resveratrol is in a bottle of red wine? That depends on the wine, some red wines have more than others and there is a lot of reasons for that including the grape used when making the wine and how long the grape was allowed to ferment before it was bottled, etc.
Generally one dose of resevatrol is equivalent to 200 glasses of red wine. Resveratrol also helps tone up the skin, gives you more energy, helps lose weight.
