If resveratrol is proved to be as effective in humans as in animals, would it be considered the best supplmnt?

That is if the human trials eventually show resveratrol to be highly effective, similar to animal studies, would it then be considered the best of all supplements? Would it be considered better even than any drug on the market, for the well being of healthy individuals?
I too think a balanced diet is good and recommended for people.

But you can’t get supplement quantity resveratrol in your diet, which is the case for several other supplements too.

People don’t supplement with all available compounds, just those they believe to be most beneficial.

In addition I believe if resveratrol can do Caloric Restriction like effects in humans, and if Caloric Restriction turns out to be highly effective in humans. It could add decades of healthy life to an individual with a balanced nutricious diet.

Resveratrol is just one of thousands of nutritionally beneficial "phytochemicals" that are found in a healthy diet. To try and label it, or any other single nutritional component, the ‘best supplement’ is to fail to recognize the HARMONY required in balanced nutrition for optimal health.
