This question was asked previously by another asker and I answered that also. My apologies therefore that this is pretty much a copy and paste of my previous answer.
Resveratrol’s chemical structure is similar to a phytoestrogen and may have estrogenic properties. Thus it may interfere with oral contraceptives and it is advised that women who are pregnant or intending to become pregnant should not use the product. Also, it is advised that it should not be taken by children or young adults under eighteen, as there are as of yet no studies showing the affects on children’s and young teens natural development.

I don’t know why you are considering taking Resveratrol but you might like to watch Horizon’s: ‘Don’t Grow Old’ documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUge7Wcj9cI
[this is part I of 6] ….it is worth watching the full documentary.
It pretty much debunks the "hyped up" value of resveratrol in terms of what is being touted out there really. Taking antioxidants will no doubt help your general health and well-being but they are not the be all and end all, so to speak. And ageing is certainly not so cut and dry to be down to oxidative damage alone. Genetics plays a major role. If you watch part 6 you will pretty much come to the conclusion also that your attitude to life plays a major part. Allahu alim.
Best wishes.
Salaams.
There is no evidence that resveratrol is good for anyone. Claims about it are premature and speculative based on very preliminary studies.
