dichloroacetate is known to revive the mitochondria into performing apoptosis within the cancer cells which causes them to self destruct. the dichloroacetate molecule is also able to penetrate the otherwise thought impenetrable cancer cell. however, it has only been tested on lab rats infected with human cancer cells. studies in the past show it has adverse side effects. resveratrol on the other hand is shown to do the exact same thing maybe even better but i cant find any research about its side effects.any biochemists/pharmacists/doctors out there who know anything about this drugs side effects or if it is better than dca. which one of the two would prove more effective?
thanks
from what ive seen on news clips on youtube. the resverataol thing is a few years off yet. this is becuase the over the counter supplements they are selilng now are not the same potentcy used in the lab rats. you would need to taek like 500 bottles to equal the same aount of 1 dose equivalent to the amount given the rats. in about 5 years it could be availabel prescriptoin strength..
DCA will never be primetime. Resveratrol looks interesting. it will join a whole host of molecules/compounds which will drive cancer treatments forward for the better. It will not, however, be THE cure for the same reason that there will never be THE cure. Cancer is a multi-headed hydra, and it will take many bullets to stop this beast.
