On todays episode Dr. Oz, they were talking about Anti-aging Secrets. One of the things they were talking about was Resveratrol. Dr. Oz says that he takes 500mg of Resveratrol and then showed a green capsule. Does anyone know the name of this pill? Thank You
Like me and other Americans and other people around the world would like t know which Resveratrol Product is the Best and more effective… Since ive started my search and research on this subject i have found many many many reviews showing different Resveratrol Products as being the number 1 best effective product on the market and most seem t have a video of Oprah or a youtube video clip of Resveratrol which started it all on 60 minutes and was then later on introduced on the Oprah Winfrey show with Dr Oz… now each one of these sites have said thr product is # 1 so instead of going by what they said i started looking for the same answers on MSNBC and other major news agencies and they give a different product as being the # 1 so what is really the best one? I love asking the Yahoo community because you guys always make more damn sense than the crap info thats out thr at the moment

Using Barbara Walters & Morely Safer’s photos online to advertise a free sample, then stick you for .13? Their customer service number refuses to give a mailing address or name of the company, so I cannot even file a complaint with the BBB…does anyone know the name / contact info of this company that advertises online using Barbara and Morely to gain people’s trust?

The big question about Resveratrol pills is whether they work. For that matter, what kind of "work" do they do? The high-quality Resveratrol supplements are expensive. Before I pay that much money I need to have scientific evidence that the benefits are worth the cost.
Okay, Resveratrol contains anti-oxidants. So what? It’s got to offer more than that because so do all fruits and vegetables, which are much less expensive. I’m not interested in "testimonials" on websites that sell the product. I’m not interested in the unsupported opinions of Oprah and Dr. Oz. I want to see results of properly conducted, unbiased studies on humans (not mice).
So my question is: Can anyone point me to such studies? For all the buzz about Resveratrol I can’t seem to find any! Are studies underway but not completed yet?

Oldtimer, I glanced at some of the studies you pointed to. It seems that most of the human studies deal with specific diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes. That’s fine as far as it goes. Maybe I should clarify my question as: What can an average, healthy human adult expect to get from taking a commercially available (OTC) form of Resveratrol? Are there any studies that have looked at this?
It is an anti-aging anti-obesity pro long life supplement touted by Dr. Oz on the Oprah show. It comes in liquid and pill form. Anyone try it long term and did you see benefits? There are an awful lot of free offers with Oprah and Dr. Phil and Barbara Walter’s face on the ad but the problem is they keep sending you more Resveratrol unless you cancel and who knows they will accept your cancellation? I prefer CVS (liquid)or Walgreens (capsule) which carries it in my area.
