Well, it is a fantastic antioxidant that is also good for cardiovascular health, but that’s about it. After all, Resveratrol is Resveratrol no matter which company sells it as long as that company is legit and has good quality.
You can get it from any health food store (GNC, Whole Foods, etc) and many other places, but I would be careful about online ads for it (as the "free trials" are hardly ever free since they have to get you to pay for it somehow) and any spammers who reply to questions like this and tell you to go to their website.
Unfortunately, Resveratrol is one of a few high powered antioxidants that are fads right now and when there is a fad, there are always people and companies that take advantage of that popularity and sell their own piece of it. The unfortunate part is that too many of those people/companies make baseless claims in order to sell their product faster and for higher prices.
It’s best to get a product like this from a company that you know and/or trust. If you’d like, I can also point out a few companies out there if you can’t find any in your local area.
As far as looking younger, that’s a rather speculative claim that many of the spammers make, but there is little (if any) evidence that it does that. I have heard of many claims and theories that free radicals cause visible signs of aging and antioxidants defend against those free radicals, but I have yet to see any proof that free radicals specifically cause the visible signs of aging (especially since those can come from so many sources). I wouldn’t count on it to help you maintain your youth, but there is evidence that daily moisturization helps keep the skin healthy and able to minimize some of those signs of aging.
Good luck and I hope I helped!
Yes -!! Resveratrol can be found in grapes, blueberries and pomegranates. Resveratrol helps the body repair damaged cells, and it is more beneficial to people who are recovering from illness. It also boosts the immune system, and it makes the body more resistant to sickness and infection. It is a very potent antioxidant, and it is twenty to fifty times effective as Vitamin C.
Well it can and will certainly slow down the aging process as it helps repair and rebuild the body’s cells. It can help reverse some damage. But to get any real benefit you have to get a quality product that is close to 99% pure. I only use a product that is.
